song without words: hesitation

here i am
listening to medelssohn
somewhere in the room

and
the broken sound
of my own ache

i
discover the
secrets songs of the universe

as you loop
my wrists with the
pearl necklace from milan

your body
sways above me
a heavy chandelier

crystals fall on me like snowflakes
and still
you have not yet said my name

yet i hear church bells
as you arrange a satin pillow
beneath my breasts

your hair
covers my face
your stormy scent enters my pores

your breath
a summer breeze upon my face
my neck, ears

your tongue almost ...
there
and still you have not kissed me

your hands cast shadows
that dominate the color of my flesh

my nipples rise,
moist lips quiver
violins cry

and still you have not
touched me...

see ...

lover

how i writhe
how i yearn to feel your weight

my skin is caressed
with the rose you came in with

no place is sacred

i whisper your name

taste my tears love
so that you may need me
as i need you now

the rose is returned
wet
more fragrant than before

i plead for mercy

your gloved hand
covers my mouth

your eyes thisclose to mine
speak of lost sonnets

you bite my earlobe
wrap my hair around your hand

i tremble the bed

and still
you have not entered me ...
