insomnia

the full moon pulls me as she pulls the ocean
sending tremors through my body

fractured memories become prayers
murmuring in my mind until a misty dawn

takes mercy upon me shoring me up
for tonight when again i become a silent spirit

dipped in uneasy holiness...

  7. oui...sometimes a bit of terror tries to seep
in but that feeling must be halted with
positive affirmations & sometimes i just get
out of bed and read something light with
a half a cup of tea or hot chocolate.
a gentle hug for you amity.

  13. Really so lovely. What images and sometimes I wonder if our sleeplessness has more to do with the moon and stars than what we realize.
